The crypto market was created right after the financial crisis that affected everyone around the world in 2008. This disruptive idea had the unique purpose of changing the world’s traditional finance systems forever, giving power to people to control their own money and unchaining themselves to craft a new monetary ecosystem.

Since then, great success stories have been observed, and the world has witnessed the highest rates of return ever seen in the history of modern capitalism in the last decade. The spark generated by exorbitant earnings developed curiosity and desire in investors’ minds.

When did things start to go wrong?

In 2016, with the incredible rise of the crypto economy, the most important media vehicles had given crypto more coverage, which made both early adopters and ill-intentioned people dive into this yet new world. This scenario has become convenient to the proliferation of scammers, who took advantage of crypto market regulation gaps.

Securities exchanges commissions around the world took the firsts steps to start regulating this market. In 2018, an annual report by the U.S. SEC listed digital currency scams among their top enforcement priorities. Good news, but not nearly enough. Scams are still rising and, at this point, represent more than 80% of all the initial coins offerings in the crypto market.

Have you ever imagined having a fully shielded platform that fulfills every lack of security implanted in the market through all these years? Defense came to establish new statements and make the market safe again.
